In our local communities, we often live in compartmentalized settings with many luxuries that many others do not possess. The Fresh Air Fund “is an independent, not-for-profit agency that provides thousands of New York City children with unforgettable summer experiences that unlock their limitless potential.” 

When we first thought to run this event, we thought it was a shoo-in. But here were some of the issues we faced:

• Only expensive venue offer

• Finding teams

• Having to cancel our original August event

Despite these hardships, we pushed forward and ran a strong event.
